Joint Interdisciplinary Presentation
A new format for the MaP Graduate Symposium 2024 - Joint Interdisciplinary Presentations! Connect with another researcher and learn to think about your project from a different perspective by holding a joint presentation around a keyword. Apply now (instructions below)!
Description of the challenge
The Organising Committee will pair you with another applicant. The two of you will get the chance to prepare a presentation (between 5 and 15 minutes, the exact time will be communicated in due time) that bridges your two research topics around a given keyword. This format intends to foster interdisciplinary exchange and collaborations between young researchers.
There will be a prize for the best joint presentation (voted by the audience) as well as a take-the-challenge treat for all the people that signed up for the format and participate in the MaP Graduate Symposium 2024.
How to apply for a joint interdisciplinary presentation

- Fill in the template (abstract) and rename it appropriately by adding your surname and given name

Submission deadline
- 8 May 2024
Procedure
- The organising committee will pair applicants (1+1). You may express a preference for a co-presenter on the abstract template. Note that a focus will be put on interdisciplinarity.
- Applicants will be informed by 22 May 2024 whether they were selected to present at the MaP Graduate Symposium.
- The selected participants will hold a joint presentation (between 5 and 15 minutes, the exact time will be communicated in due time) around a bridging keyword, which the organising committee will give to them in advance.
Reward
- A prize will be awarded for the best joint interdisciplinary presentation (public vote)
- All applicants present at the symposium will receive a take-the-challenge treat
