MaP Image Contest

How to take part in the image contest

(all participants)

Register for the MaP Graduate Symposium.
Prepare your image (tiff, jpg, pdf, eps, or png format). Be mindful of the size of your file (preferably 200-300 dpi, less might result in a blurred image).
Name your image and caption files with the format of "Surname-GivenName.xx".
Read the rules of the image contest below. By uploading a file you agree to them.
Upload your image and image caption files to https://www.polybox.ethz.ch/index.php/s/w8aPFRjLleCFVDs.
Submission deadline is 31 May 2024.

Participants must have captured and created the original image.
Only one image per person. If you submit more than one image, only the first one will enter the contest.
Any image that violates copyright, trademark or any other applicable law will be disqualified.
The participant’s name or any other distinguishing marks must not appear on the image.
Participants agree that any image entered may be used by MaP in any form and media.
Prizes can only be claimed when present on-site during the Award Ceremony of the MaP Graduate Symposium unless the participant provides an acceptable reason for the absence prior to the start of the Award Ceremony.
Before submitting your image, preliminary external pageregistration for the MaP Graduate Symposium is required.
By submitting your image to the MaP Image Contest, you agree to the rules of the contest.

All submitted images will be on display during the MaP Graduate Symposium. The winners will be announced during the Award Ceremony on 20 June 2024.
