The event kicked off at Audi Max with opening remarks, followed by several sessions where doctoral students showcased their cutting-edge research. The organising committee selected fourteen students for 10-minute presentations, while another 48 students had the opportunity to pitch their posters in a one-minute format—a new approach that was well-received by the 200 participants. These pitches provided an overview of the posters displayed downstairs in the main hall. The symposium also featured an image gallery and a delightful buffet, encouraging interactive discussions among attendees.
The day wrapped up with presentations from industry partners Pilatus Aircraft and BASF, innovative transdisciplinary idea pitches (won by Nadia Enrriquez and Natascha Gray, D-MATL), and the election of the new MaP student representative, Yifan Cui (D-MAVT).
Congratulations to all the winners!
