MaP Graduate Symposium

The MaP Graduate Symposium is an annual event for the ETH Materials and Processes community. Originally organised by the MRC and MaP, it is now hosted by MaP Doctoral School. Each year, around 200 people attend the symposium, showcasing their research and networking across departments.

Join the organising team!

Would you like to help organise the next MaP Graduate Symposium? We are looking for motivated MaP doctoral students with fresh ideas!

The team meets around five times (mostly online) in the first half of 2027. Possible tasks include conceptualising and implementing new programme elements or designing advertising materials. You will gain visibility with ETH professors and senior researchers, meet other doctoral students, and play a crucial role in bringing a major ETH event to life.
