Governance
The MaP Doctoral School is a key initiative of the Competence Center for Materials and Processes (MaP), building on its established governance structure. It is open to all MaP members, who benefit from its programs and opportunities for collaboration.
Regular interaction with the broader MaP community is fostered through the annual General Assembly. The School is managed by the Executive Office, ensuring coordination and consistency across MaP's diverse research areas.
Strong links with MaP’s leadership are maintained through direct exchange with the MaP Steering Committee. This connection is facilitated by the MaP Chair—who also serves on the School Board—ensuring close alignment and collaboration between MaP and the Doctoral School.
Doctoral students are institutionally integrated through a dedicated student representative on the School Board. This representative is an actively enrolled student of the School.
