Call for Abstracts for Young Investigator Pitches

The Young Investigator Pitch offers an opportunity to showcase your innovative Raman spectroscopy research and win a prize (electronic certificate and prize money) awarded by the Raman Workshop 2025 Organising Committee. If selected, you will present your work in a ten-minute flash presentation.

To apply, submit an abstract (up to 300 words) emphasizing the excellence and novelty of your research, as well as a brief description (up to 120 words) explaining why your work should be considered for the award (e.g., novelty, outstanding results).

Applicants must be in the early stages of their scientific career (doctoral student, postdoc, or equivalent position). Please send your application directly to the Organising Committee at , after registering for the Raman Workshop 2023. Use the following format for the email subject and the abstract title: "LastName-FirstName_YoungInvestigatorPitch2025".

The deadline for submission is 2 May 2025. Applicants will receive notification of their selection status before 21 May 2025. Selected candidates must attend the Raman Workshop on 4-6 June 2025 to present their research, and will be contacted by the Organising Committee to arrange their participation.
