The MaP Doctoral School Soft Materials Track is delighted to host a new seminar series focused on soft matter science and mechanics. Taking place every second Tuesday of the month over lunch, the 'Soft Talks' offer ETH students and visiting researchers the chance to present their work in an informal, conversational setting.
The seminars aim to strengthen networks within ETH Zürich while encouraging collaboration and knowledge exchange with leading international experts. Looking ahead, the series will culminate in the Soft Materials Symposium on 17 April 2026, featuring distinguished speakers sharing the latest developments in the field.
MaP Doctoral School will provide a sandwich lunch (registration necessary).
The Soft Talks are organised by Savannah Gowen (D-MATL), Xiang Kong (D-MATL), and Pietro Carrara (D-MAVT), and take place on site to encourage lively discussion and exchange.
